NaFORRI Guest House in Kifu is located
12km along Mukono - Kayunga road and
30km from Kampala City. The Guest House
is situated within the National Forestry
Resources Research Institute (NaFORRI) Kifu.
It is within the Kifu Central Forest Reserve
which is 5000ha. It is a home for a variety
of plant communities and a wildlife sancuary
offering excellent ecotourism within one
hour out of Kampala City. |
There is a modern, spacious and fully
furnished conference hall with a sitting
capacity of over 200 people.
Camping & Forest Trails:
NaFORRI, Kifu offers beautiful camping space
that can accommodate over 50 guests, with
sites for campfires. The ecotourism and living
with nature is a fantastics experience.

The Guest House has 10 excellent selfcontained
bedrooms with internet connection
and a quiet atmosphere for both study and
luxury away from home and town.

The restaurant serves a variety of local and
international cousine. Breakfast, lunch,
dinner and snacks are provided on request.
There is a well furnished kitchen for the
guests to prepare their own choice of meals
at their convenience. |
A wide variety of plant communities including
the giant mahoganies, ferns, epiphytes and
wildlife comprising of birds, small mammals,
insects and reptiles will excite and satisfy
any naturalist and tourist to the relic of an
equatorial evergreen rainforest. |
